Some
people came to Jesus,
carrying a paralysed man on a stretcher.
Seeing their faith,
Jesus said to the paralysed man "Courage.....get up,
pick up your stretcher and go home".
And the sick man got up and went home.
When everyone saw this
they praised God for what Jesus had done

ten lepers called out to him,
"Jesus! Master! Take pity of us".
Jesus made a simple reply:
"Go and show yourselves to the priests".
As they went, their leprosy left them.
One of them, overcome with joy, went back to Jesus.
He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him.
But Jesus was sad, because the nine others didn't bother to come back and say thank you.
How Jesus healed 10 lepers
(Gospel of Luke, 17:11-19)
Just as they were entering the town
a dead man was being carried out for burial,
his mother's only son, and she was a widow.
When Jesus saw her, his heart went out to her.
"Do not cry", he said to her.
Then he stopped the procession
and said to the dead body
"Young man, I tell you, get up!"
The dead man sat up and began talking,
and Jesus gave him back to his mother.

there was a blind beggar by the side of the road.
When the blind man heard that Jesus was passing by
he called out "Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!"
Some people told him to keep quiet
but he called out even more loudly
"Son of David, have pity on me!"
Jesus asked him, "What do you want?"
The man replied "Sir, let me see again"
Jesus said to him
"Receive back your sight; your faith has saved you."
At that moment, his sight returned
and he followed Jesus along the road,
praising God at the top of his voice.
